The Spanking Violets were a San Francisco based rock band in the mid 1990's. They were Katherine Harris on lead vocal and rythm guitar, Cynthia Smith on bass, Ric Sandoval on lead guitar and Kevin Allen on drums. They put out at least one album before going their separate ways, which was too bad as they wrote some good songs and were fun to see.
