Spacegun is a Indie/Experimental/Funk band/musical project created by Wellington musician Jonothan King. Spacegun gained a mild cult following beggining in 2005 with the release of Spacegun's first and only album to date "Like Hellicopters from Space". King's lyrics are socially perceptive whils retaining a degree of ambiguity. Singles 'I love the radio' and 'I am a duck' have gained a humble amount of air time on Wellington student and community radio station The VBC 88.
