Sounds from Atlantis defies easy categorization by melding pop folk with ethereal progressions and still interjecting body-moving rock that satisfies that inner tribal beat. Recently finishing shows at the infamous Knitting Factory in NYC and playing with the Blue Method at Grape Street in Philadelphia has helped give Sounds from Atlantis the notoriety they deserve. Pushing harder than ever, Tony Cooksey has done well to take yet another stab at convincing the east coast with his lyrics and writing structure.
