Miles Chic was born in Lantzville, British Columbia on March 22, 1985. He has a one year jazz degree under his belt and plays about ten instruments. He has previously been in bands such as Colourbook, The Paper Cranes, The Dirt On, Vincat, and Young Lions. This is his solo project (previously Fathers and then Broken Boat) inspired by more experimental electronic artists such as Tape and Bibio. He is currently working on Greek Beds with Colin Gillespie of Count Oak. Greek Beds and Sommer are now part of Jeune Ete Records.
