Solitude Aeternus was formed under the name of only Solitude in 1987 by the frontman and guitarist John Perez. They played shows around the Dallas area in Texas before releasing their debut album "Into The Depths Of Sorrow" in 1991. Their original label King Classic was unfortunately forced to end their activities soon after the release but Solitude was offered a new deal with Roadrunner Records. Their third album "Through the Darkest Hour" gave them the chance to tour with the legendary Mercyful Fate...
