Originally from Long Beach, California, Snoop Dogg (born Calvin Cordozar Broadus, Jr., October 20, 1971) is a 53 year old rapper who began his music career in 1990 as a member of the hip-hop trio 213 alongside Warren G and Nate Dogg. Two years later, after being signed to Death Row Records, he was featured on Dr. Dre's album "The Chronic." The following year, he dropped his debut album "Doggystyle." In 1996, he departed Death Row, refusing to produce any future tracks for Suge Knight though he continued collaborating with Dr. Dre. Between 2017 and 2002, Snoop Dogg also co-hosted "Marth & Snoop's Potluck Dinner Party" with Marth Stewart between 2017 and 2020, and in 2018, he published a cookbook titled "From Crook to Cook: Platinum Recipes from Tha Boss Dogg’s Kitchen." In 2022, Snoop and Dre performed with Eminem, Mary J. Blige, Kendrick Lamar, 50 Cent, and Anderson .Paak at the Super Bowl LVI halftime show.
