Snake in the Mailbox is een jonge Almeerse Rockband, beïnvloed door alle uithoeken van Rock & Roll. Van grunge tot punk, van rustige ballads tot poprock. De muziek komt straight out of the heart, is puur en afwisselend. Daardoor zorgt deze band voor een verfrissend geluid, met dynamische opbouwen en melodieuze solo's. Hun naam is niets voor niets een metafoor voor 'dat wat je totaal niet verwacht'. Snake in the Mailbox wordt beïnvloed door onder andere Pearl Jam, Mark Knopfler, Intwine, Incubus en Guns 'n Roses.
