Slugworth - band from Springfield, Missouri. 1990-1995 SMSU college kids making a mash up of Rock, Hip-Hop, Funk, Noise Rock and Ska. Influences were Beastie Boys, Helmet, Souls of Mischief, Sonic Youth, The Goats, and James Brown. Slugworth were a live funk, hip hop and noise rock band active from 1990-1995. Often headlining in their small college town of Springfield, MO. Slugworth quickly began opening for bigger regional and national acts including 311, The Urge, Billy Goat and many more.
