San Francisco’s indie rock quartet, Sleep Your Excellence, combines the sonic sounds of shoegaze and post punk, with the songwriting of the Smiths to produce songs that have been compared to bands like My Bloody Valentine and Joy Division. Recently appearing on Yeah Live! Television, and with a upcoming performance at the famed Cafe Du Nord, Sleep Your Excellence has been creating a buzz in San Francisco’s indie music scene since forming in early 2009.
