Slammin' Watusis Concert History

Their first album is a self-titled skate punk classic, thanks to their music appearing in skateboard videos. They originally infused this skate punk style with horns and other minor blues influences. As time progressed the Slammin' Watusis began to add even more musical textures -- synths, blues-rock, power pop, guitar-leads, even a glimpse of glam(ish) heavy metal -- by the time of 1989's Kings of Noise (only their second album) they had called it quits. Apparently bassist Clay Tomasek turned up in a band named Green two years later.
