He has contributed to Melody Maker, The New York Times, Village Voice, The Guardian, Rolling Stone, The Observer, Artforum, New Statesman, The Wire, Mojo, Uncut, Spin, and others. Reynolds has become well known for his incorporation of critical theory in his analysis of music.
