Sick Joy's 2017 Concert History

Sick Joy are a post grunge/alternative rock band that brand themselves as 'heavy pop' or 'noise pop'. The name Sick Joy is originally from a 90s movie which Mykl took and made his own meaning for - 'when you really love something but it kills you as well.' Originally from Newcastle, after the disintegration of their former band, Mykl Barton (vocals/guitar/song writing) and Danny Pitson (bass) built a bed into the back of their van and moved to Brighton to form Sick Joy in 2016.
