Although well renowned singer-songwriters in their own rights, Alabama-bred sisters Shelby Lynne and Allison Moorer have finally teamed up for their very first collaborative album, Not Dark Yet, that sees them covering tunes from country legends such as the Louvin Brothers, Merle Haggard, Jessi Colter and Townes Van Zandt, as well as exploring most diverse influences such as Jason Isbell, Nirvana, the Killers, Nick Cave and Bob Dylan. The album, produced by Teddy Thompson, also includes an original song by Lynne and Moorer, "Is It Too Much".
