Shattered Display has seen many members come and go. Travis Kirkland started the band in 2003, crafting songs such as "Amphetamine Land", "Constellations", and "Lion's Den" over the course of several years. In October 2009 Shattered Display released their debut album "Kill the Lights and Cut the Nerve" which was recorded in Long Island, New York by Anthony Santonocito at Killingsworth Recording Company. They continued to play shows across the Louisiana area over the next two years.
