Sharon Shannon (born 12 November 1968 inbetween Ruan and Corofin, County Clare, Ireland; now living in Letterfrack, County Galway) is an Irish musician. She is best known for her work with the button accordion and her violin fiddle technique, but has also played the tin whistle.
