"Shadows of Dawn has been equated as being an entity which strives to produce unique and unorthodox arrays of Metal music. Pulling from their roots of Thrash Metal, they blend raw speed with melody, harmony and dissonance in the vein of bands like Iced Earth, In Flames, Soilwork and Meshuggah. Unlike most metal bands, Shadows of Dawn only defines themselves as being in the Metal genre, because they encorporate many different sub-genres into their music.
