Sell the Rights is the product of small town singer/songwriter, Alex Swenson, writing songs from the heart that are reminiscent of the simpler things in life, the way he sees them, the way they should be. When combined with Seattle music scene veteran and then aspiring producer, Brian Rowland, in 2009, a new vision was fabricated: A project that combines the smoky soul of a classic rock style songwriter, with the big payoff of a more contemporary pop/rock musician/producer.
