In 2012, former Stone Temple Pilots lead singer Scott Weiland formed a new backing band named the Wildabouts, with Tommy Black (bass guitar), Jeremy Brown (guitar), Doug Green (guitar/keynoard), and Danny Thompson (drums). Together, they only released one album, "Blaster", which was released on March 31, 2015. Brown had died one day before the album's release. On December 3, 2015, while on tour supporting the album, Weiland was found dead from an overdose inside the band's tour bus. He was 48 years old.
