Schmeisig sind beim gemeinsamen Pfingstzelten im Bergischen entstanden und eben dort am Lagerfeuer im Jahr 2005 zum ersten Mal aufgetreten. Seitdem ist aus dem spontanen Projekt eine feste Akustik-Country-Folk-Coverband gewachsen.
