Based out of Los Angeles, California, Scarlet's Remains formed in 2003 by founding member Tony Havoc (drums, formerly of Fear Cult, Horrorshow, Hatesex, Voodoo Church) who recruited Johann Schumann (bass and ex Christian Death, Shadow Project, Mephisto Walz) and Brian Elizondo (guitar ex Sludgeclot, Resulles). Completing the lineup, eveghost joined as vocalist in summer 2004 and the debut album was recorded over a period of about 6 months. In early 2005 Scarlet's Remains signed to Dark Dimensions/Alice In.
