Scarlet Party Concert History

Scarlet Party was a power pop/new wave group from Essex in the U.K. that had some success in the early to mid 80s. It was made up of Graham Dye, Steven Dye, Mark Gilmour, and Sean Heapy. Their name was a reference to an event in the popular 1968 Peter Sellers comedy film 'The Party'. The group is best known both for the 1982 hit single "101 Damn-Nations" (or "101 Dam-Nations"), which reached the Top 40, as well as for the fact that guitarist Mark Gilmour was the brother of Pink Floyd guitarist David Gilmour.
