Sam Nixon & Mark Rhodes were contestants on series 2 of Pop Idol with Sam finishing in 3rd and Mark coming second to winner Michelle McManus. Immediately after Pop Idol the pair became a duo and released two singles "A Little Help From My Friends/Measure Of A Man" (which went to #1 in the UK) and "The Sun Has Come Your Way" (#19).
