Sam Carter's 2008 Concert History

Sam Carter is a twenty-five year old singer-songwriter and outstanding fingerstyle guitarist from the English Midlands, now based in London. He has studied guitar with Martin Simpson and has already supported artists including Rachel Unthank & The Winterset, Davey Graham, Spiers & Boden, Findlay Brown and John Smith. In summer 2007 he took part in a collaborative project with Nitin Sawhney which culminated in a performance at the Royal Festival Hall and as a result has been appointed Emerging Artist in Residence at the Southbank Centre.
