Said the Maiden are a new Hertfordshire-based vocal trio, making waves on the folk scene. All musicians from an early age, they were involved in shows and concerts together at school in St Albans, but found few outlets for their talents in the working world - until they learned a couple of songs to play at nearby Redbourn Folk Club just for fun. When the crowd called for more but they didn't have any more to sing, they knew they were onto something! Their well-matched vocals and gorgeous arrangements bring new life to traditional songs
