In late 2007 AD, vocalist Nick DiCarlo, guitarist Pete Couto, and drummer Ryan Wegner began writing music for what is now Run West. While playing together in successful bands through college at Columbia University, the three accrued a great deal of experience in the New York City music scene, playing venues such as CBGB (RIP), the Knitting Factory Main Stage, the Mercury Lounge, and even Webster Hall. After joining forces with bassist Dan Flynn some months following these early 3 man sessions, Run West was officially born.
