Royal Forest is a psychedelic rock band from Austin, Texas. They’ve received comparisons to Grandaddy, the Flaming Lips, and Spoon from such entities as MAGNET Magazine, NPR, and Flagpole Magazine. The band formed as Loxsly in 2004, and in 2010 rechristened themselves Royal Forest with the release of a self-titled EP (which is available for free download at http://royalforest.bandcamp.com/).
