Roy Santiago (1980) was raised in the south of Holland, close to the border of Belgium. He started to try out some instruments that were running in the family. Since his 17th birthday, he has played in several bands, including wave-group The Sound Assassins. In 1999 Baron Samedi Records heard some solo songs of Roy, and wanted his music to be their first release. Nowadays, Roy Santiago lives in The Hague and has released several albums throughout the past years.
