Roy Loney & The Phantom Movers's 1979 Concert Photos

Roy Loney & The Phantom Movers was an American 50s-style rock ‘n’ roll band formed and led by Roy Loney in 1978, some seven years after Loney quit as co-leader of garage rock group Flamin' Groovies. As well as Lonely, the band comprised James Ferrell (guitar) and Danny Mihm (drums), plus two further ex-Groovies’ alumni, Larry Lea (guitar) and Maurice Tani (bass). The band's album "Out After Dark" captured the spirit and style of the singer’s former group and was the subject of critical acclaim.
