Ross Wright had early beginnings with pop rock roots in Goldsboro, North Carolina as he fronted the band SEED (Stomping Evil Every Day). Moving and maturing later on into a power pop band SEED became Ross Wright Band. Ross Wright Band did extensive touring and shared the stage with many contemporary Christian artists such as Rebecca St. James.
