Rory Gallagher (2 March 1948–14 June 1995) was an Irish blues/rock guitarist Born in Ballyshannon, County Donegal, Ireland, he grew up in Cork City in the south of the country. He is best known for his solo albums, and for his tenure in the band Taste during the late 60s. Rory Gallagher's albums sold in excess of 30 million copies worldwide.
