Room 291 has existed in one form or another since 1984, releasing numerous cassettes, cds, and even some vinyl along the way. Started originally as a solo project by pj kern for art damage/sound exploration, it soon grew into a full fledged band that went from industrial to goth to synth pop to ambient - sometimes all in the same song... In the late nineties, Room 291 came full circle, becoming once again a solo project, in which form it continues today.
