Righteous Brisket was formed in Austin in 2009 by four veterans of the Texas music scene, who decided that playing their own music - and a few favorite covers - was more important than chasing fame and fortune. During their 5 years together, they gathered a fair following in Austin and the surrounding area, and released 3 records.
