The Red Plastic Buddha burst out of Chicago’s psychedelic underground in late 2007 with the release of their debut CD Sunflower Sessions. Although one catches glimpses of Swinging London circa 1967 in their sound, the Buddhas use the paisley template as a mere starting point for their catchy pop masterpieces.
