Purient is the pseudonym of Melbourne based electronic producer and vocalist Kate Durman. A fixture of AUS/LA label Burning Rose Records; Purient has traversed her own thoughts with uncanny attention to detail, subverting pop normality to bring an introverted, brooding and dynamic sound.
