Any history of Pulsar47 starts with the history of a band called At Knifepoint. In the summer of 2003 a group of friends who knew each other through Openingbands.com started a post rock group called At Knifepoint. They continued to add members until their line up consisted of 8 people. Their popularity grew surprisingly quickly by word of mouth. They only played a total of 9 shows before they broke up in May of 2004, leaving their fans with only one recorded track courtesy of Green St.
