Project Film was born from the mind of Minneapolis, MN native, Sam McAllister. The project officially emerged in late 2008 upon McAllister's arrival at Columbia College in Chicago, IL. Soon after, Megan Frestedt, a fellow Chicago musician and high school friend of McAllister, joined the project adding female vocals and making it the dynamic duo it currently is.
