Preta Maria Gadelha Gil Moreira (born August 08, 1974 in Rio de Janeiro, Rio de Janeiro), known as Preta Gil, is a brazilian singer/actress who rose to fame during the early 2000s. She also hosted a TV show, "Caixa Preta". She's also known as Gilberto Gil's daughter.
