Politicks is a band from Washington DC, active from 2004- 2009. Reminiscent of 90's hip-hop/rock fusion bands such as Red Hot Chili Peppers and Scapegoat Wax, Politicks takes things one step further by adding hints of funk/reggae, pop, and soul to the mix. Formed by some friends at Radford University, Politicks released their first professional album, "Two Coffees, One Juice" in 2006. Having shared the stage with big names including The Roots, Lauryn Hill, and India.
