East-European-Folk-Rock from Germany. Set in Berlin in the beginning of the 90ies, Mastermind Nikolai Tomás put his hungarian roots into a relaxed kind of Alternative-Rock. Lots of acoustic instruments, the voice of Tomás and his companion Melissa Lou and some kind of Punk-Polka gave the Band a special attitude. They released four Albums before they split. I Shot The Moon (the last one from this period) was produced by Phil Manzanera, of Roxy Music fame.
These are photos from concerts where Poems for Laila played, so they may be of other bands that played the concert as well.
