Plugz's 1978 Concert History

The Plugz were one of the earliest punk rock bands to come out of Los Angeles during the "new wave" of 1976-77. They played minimalist punk with a noticeable Spanish influence (the original members were of Latino descent). Quickly becoming one of the most popular bands of the L.A. scene, along with X, the Weirdos, FEAR and others, the Plugz released two full-length albums and a handful of singles before dissolving into the 80s rock act Cruzados. The band has since reformed and plays sporadically in the L.A. area.
