erik ricky and tim met eachother during their formative years in the dreary grey and beige of the kent/renton area. ricky was jealous of tim, tim thought ricky didn't like him, erik took photographs with ricky and secretly smoked cigarrettes with tim. tim and erik were pals. tim ricky and erik all had many mutual friends, they also listened to the pixies. then college came, tim went to boston, erik and ricky read and hid their frustration in order to fit in with all the methodists.
