Plainfield Slim is the blues alter ego of American singer, guitarist, and songwriter Gar Francis. He also records as Plainfield Slim & The Groundhawgs, plus he has been a member of The Doughboys since 2005 (whose song “Black Sheep” from their album “Is It Now?” was chosen by Little Steven’s Sirius radio show The Underground Garage as the #2 “Coolest Song In The World” for the year 2008) and a member of The Satisfactors since 2014.
