Pinot is a national touring funk/jam band based out of Los Angeles, CA. The band sounds like a mixture of old school funk/soul (James Brown, Stevie Wonder, Herbie Hancock) with hip-hop and dance influences from artists like Kanye West, Jay Z, Jamiroquai, and Daft Punk. Pinot is lead by drummer/producer Sam Brawner who founded the band in 2006 while attending USC's Thornton School of Music. All members of Pinot are USC Music graduates.
