Angie Kuzma is a singer, guitarist, and classically trained violinist born in Grand Rapids, Michigan. Shortly after she moved to Portland in the fall of 2007, she met Justin Ready (singer and guitarist of the experimental Americana band Pigeons) at a music store where she was trying out amps and pedals for her violin. Ready asked her to join the project and the two became fast friends. At this time, Angie had just begun playing guitar and writing her first songs.
