So many Pericles songs roll by fast and leave you going back to sing along. Other songs show off an impressive, more mellow sound. Lyrically, their music focuses on many topics: from consumerism and our lack of involvement in a better world, to veganism and the bands’ inevitable struggle with moving from Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic to the States in order to become a successful touring act. Pericles is one of the hardest working bands on Community Records and you deserve to hear them.
