Paradoks was created by the group of musicians around Paide (Estonia) in 1979. They started creating their own music which in the then was mainly Hard Rock. In 1980 they completed their lineup (see below) and started playing more heavy rock music. Bands has 3 most recognized hit songs: "Ära möödu must lähedalt", "Võlg" and "Vaikus".
