Paolo Fresu is a jazz trumpet player from Berchidda, Sardinia. His main musical influence is probably Miles Davis, but he has also experimented fusion of different genres (e.g. he has released a CD in collaboration with gypsy Balkan brass ensemble Kocani Orkestar).
