Palmkite was formed in June of 2009 by four old friends looking to make something new. Sam Karpp taught himself to play the bass, Larry Bellomo learned some new tunings, Jackson Smith assumed his first ever role as guitarist and Richard Radimer brought their sound together on the drums. The result of two months’ playing was a demo of five collaboratively written songs that defy simple classification, and reveal the distinctive style of each member.
