Painstruck nasceu em Agosto de 1997. Como membros fundadores Nuno Aguiar de Loureiro (Guitarra solo e voz) e Paulo Lafaia (Bateria) hoje em dia a banda conta com Raul Vicente (Baixo) e João Silva (Guitarra ritmo). Inicialmente ainda tocaram sob o nome de “Breed-machine” até alterarem completamente a estrutura musical e dar origem aos Painstruck. Imediatamente começaram a escrever um conjunto de canções que descrevessem as suas emoções e ideais...
