Our Last Hero began in Frankfort, Kentucky as Ten Hour Drive during a very cold winter spent in a shed with Josh Toftness (Vocals), Chris Collins (Guitar), and Severn Edmondson (Drums) of Onward Pilgrim, The Blue Suckers, and many others; in 2007. By March of 2008 they had recruited Manuel Kelley (Bass) and eventually decided to change their name to Our Last Hero.
